The highlight of this trip is a private tour of WMF’s decade-long conservation project at the eighteenth-century Qianlong Garden in the Forbidden City. Visit Juanqinzhai, the Qianlong emperor’s private retirement lodge—the first building that was restored as part of the World Monuments Fund/Palace Museum collaboration.
