Taos Pueblo and the Arts of New Mexico

Trip highlights included a look at the restoration and training project at Taos Pueblo with the WMF Program Director for the United States and the Taos Pueblo Preservation Director. Travelers toured Georgia O’Keeffe’s home and studio in Abiquiu with its Director of Historic Properties, enjoyed a dinner and performance of La Traviata at the Santa Fe Opera, and visited a private home outside Santa Fe—the only Frank Lloyd Wright structure in New Mexico.

Since 1991, World Monuments Fund has transported heritage enthusiasts to destinations near and far on specially designed trips built around private visits to WMF projects and sites. Travelers engage with fellow participants, gain new insights into local cultures, learn about historic preservation efforts across the globe, and enjoy unparalleled access to the world’s most treasured places.
