International Council
The International Council is a prestigious circle of visionary leaders from around the world who care about cultural heritage.
Discover our International Council
International Council members play a key role at World Monuments Fund, working with WMF’s leadership to expand our reach and maximize our impact through facilitating partnerships, identifying and fundraising for projects of international stature, and advocating for the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
WMF has International Council chapters in United States, In the Arab Countries, China, France, India, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Southeast Asia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Upon joining, each member chooses which chapter they plan to associate with most closely. All International Council members, regardless of chapter, have access to our global networks and activities, including special events, bespoke programming, and travel opportunities with behind-the-scenes tours of WMF projects. Learn more about our Travel Program and Events.
